Newline TVs Support

Harmony is using Newline STV+ Series TVs at the Central Office for staff, meeting rooms, and public areas. Some of them will be managed by the operations department, displaying helpful content. Here you will see beneficial resources on how to use them. These TVs have an app called Newline Cast a wireless screen sharing and collaboration tool. It allows users to easily share their screens from various devices (laptops, tablets, phones) to a Newline display.

  • Images on TVs are Blurry. What should I do? Please adjust the zoom on your computer (Use the CTRL & +, - keys to adjust it)
     

  • Do the STVs in Central Office have a touchscreen? No. These panels are non-touch.
     

  • How do I connect my device? Laptops: Use your browser-based connection. iOS devices: Use AirPlay or the DisplayNote app. Chromebooks: Use the DisplayNote extension for Chrome
     

  • I want to show a video or pictures in the Public Areas. Please, submit a ticket via the Help Desk by selecting the category "Help Desk - Announcement Request / CO Common Area TVs."
     

  • What is the Moderator mode? It allows presenters to manage who is sharing their screen and disconnect unwanted connections.
     

  • What is AirPlay integration? iOS devices can connect via AirPlay, mirroring the device's screen onto the Newline display TVs.
     

  • My AirPlay does not work. Please make sure both devices are in the same WIFI network
